Updated 2009 version for Windows Vista and Windows 7

Rational
Hydrograph (RATHYDRO) software
Note: RATHYDRO was not updated for Windows 7 (or later) operating systems. The County is updating our Hydrology Manual, after which RATHYDRO will be retired and replaced with a new tool because the current intensity equation that is built into RATHYDRO will be retired and NOAA Atlas 14 will be adopted. However, a target date has not been set for the Hydrology Manual update. In the meantime you may be able to make RATHYDRO work by saving the RATHYDRO files in the “program files” directory vs. the default “program filesx86” directory. Some other options to perform the calculations and create a rational method hydrograph include (1) install and use RATHYDRO on an old 32 bit machine, or (2) create your own tool in an Excel spreadsheet using the equations provided in Chapter 6 of the Hydrology Manual.
