Driving Under the Influence Program
The Driving Under the Influence (DUI) program is licensed by the
California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and administered
locally by Behavioral Health Services.
DUI Programs assist those convicted of DUI offenses in completing legal and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) requirements to regain their licenses. By providing education, treatment, and referrals, these programs aim to reduce incidents of DUI, DUI recidivism, and DUI-related crashes, injuries, fatalities and improve public safety. Participants learn about the risks of impaired driving and can connect with further treatment services for alcohol or other substances if needed.
Services are designed to meet the requirements of the DMV and courts as stipulated for individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence.
- Available services include education-only programs, and 3-, 6-, 9-, 12- and 18-month programs.
- Spanish services are available at all locations.
- All facilities are wheelchair accessible.
- Virtual services are available at all locations.
