Diversity and Inclusion

The Finance and General Government Group

The Finance and General Government Group (FG3) provides critical infrastructure, administers programs that ensure government accountability and transparency, continually strengthens the financial and operational backbone of the County and is responsible for essential support services for our region. The Group is responsible for maintaining vital records, administering the property tax system, facilities and fleet management, compliance, capital improvement projects, data and analytics infrastructure, enterprise human resources services and financial reporting and management.

FG3’s commitment to providing essential services to the region are reflected by safeguarding voter registration and elections, modernizing infrastructure and innovative technology to maximize efficient use of resources, all while advancing regional economic development and inclusive growth by dismantling barriers to opportunities in traditionally underserved communities and underutilized businesses.

FG3 continues to foster the advancement of equity and racial justice with formal County-wide framework of normalizing, organizing and operationalizing these efforts at the department level through Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) leaders. This framework outlines the existing equity infrastructure and guides departments in coordinating their JEDI teams, implementing equity, diversity and inclusion practices, and integrating equity tools into their programs and procedures.

FG3 is proud to highlight the equity, diversity and inclusion accomplishments that uphold the County’s Values, centered around community engagement and an empowered workforce.
