Upcoming Events and Meetings

Join us at our upcoming press conference, celebrating the adoption of the local Fair Chance Ordinance. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 12, at 10:00 AM, at the County Administration Center (CAC), near the flagpole. The press conference will raise awareness of the new ordinance, and provide resources for both workers and employers, including a hiring toolkit designed to assist employers with fair chance hiring practices.  We will be joined by representatives from the Board of Supervisors, Public Safety Group, Second Chance, Center for Employment Opportunities, and other community-based organizations, unions, and business groups. Together, we will highlight the importance of supporting justice-involved individuals as they reenter the workforce.
