Who is the Chief Administrative Officer and what are his/her duties?
The Interim Chief Administrative Officer is Sarah E. Aghassi. The Chief Administrative Officer provides policy-based program and financial decision-making support to the Board of Supervisors. The Chief Administrative Officer oversees the operation of over 40 departments that provide a myriad of services to the region - from health and human services to criminal justice programs, land use planning, public works, parks, libraries, animal control and voter registration services. The Chief Administrative Officer also manages the allocation of personnel, capital and budgetary resources within the County organization.

What is the San Diego County Employees’ Charitable Organization (CECO)
and how can I obtain additional information?
CECO is an employee managed nonprofit organization which awards grants to local nonprofit organizations on behalf of San Diego County and Superior Court employees. County of San Diego and Superior Court employees interested in donating to CECO may contact their CECO department representative for additional information.
