Project Description

Roadway Safety Improvements

  • Realign existing two‐lane roadway to reduce curves and hills, improve motorist line‐of‐sight
  • Improve existing turn lanes at Warnock Drive and Wildcat Canyon Road
  • Add new turn lane at Deviney Lane
  • Add centerline rumble strips

Added Facilities

  • Bicycle lanes on both sides of the newly aligned roadway
  • 10‐foot stabilized DG multi‐use pathway on the west and south side of the road
  • 10‐foot graded parkway on the north and east side of the road

Utilities

  • Undergrounding overhead utilities & removing majority of existing utility poles
  • Upgrading existing water line system & drainage system

  • Project Start: September 15, 2014
  • Estimated Project Completion: Spring 2016
  • EstimateId Construction Cost : $22 million
