PRD Zone Formation and Dissolution
A Permanent Road Division (PRD) Zone is a district which provides
property owners with a financing mechanism to pay for private road
maintenance and improvements in a geographically defined area through
special benefit assessments or special taxes that are placed on the
tax roll. PRD Zones are formed at the request of property owners and
services are performed by the Department of Public Works.
