About:
The San Diego County Psychiatric Hospital provides 24/7 care for individuals ages 18 and older who are experiencing mental health concerns. The purpose of the Hospital is to assist individuals during a mental health emergency, become stabilized, and move to a less restrictive level of care.
Services:
- Urgent psychiatric assessment and intervention in the
Emergency Psychiatric Unit
- Continued psychiatric assessment and stabilization in the Crisis Stabilization Unit
- Supportive services in the Crisis Recovery Unit to promote healing and well-being
- Care Coordination to ensure the patient stays connected to care after discharge
- Onsite pharmacy available to fill prescriptions
