The It's Up to Us Mental Health Stigma and Discrimination Reduction media campaign was designed to empower San Diegans to talk openly about mental illness, recognize symptoms, seek help and support those who may be experiencing mental health challenges. The goal of the campaign was to initiate change in perception, inspire wellness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.
The campaign placed ads on television, cable, radio, outdoor, cinema, print and digital media. A website has also been created for the campaign <www.up2sd.org>.
Recovery is possible and help is available. It's Up to Us.
