Below you will find the meeting calendar for the month, a list of our committees & groups, along with meeting frequency and a brief description of the duties of each respective committee/group.

Brown Act-governed standing Commission and Committee meetings will
resume in person. A virtual option is available for members of the
public only.

The HIV Planning Group meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month.
Mission: Set priorities and allocate funds to provide services for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).
The Strategies & Standards Committee meets on the 1st Tuesday of every other month.
Mission: Oversees the Integrated Plan and makes recommendations to objectives, strategies, and activities to support the Getting to Zero (GTZ) initiative.
The Membership Committee meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
Mission: Review, interview, select, and coordinate training for HIV Planning Group members.
The Steering Committee meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month.
Mission: Establish the agenda for full meetings of the HIV Planning Group and address issues of the HIV Planning Group governance.
The Community Engagement Group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
Mission: Educate consumers, increase consumer participation, and represent consumer needs throughout the HIV Planning Group process.
The Priority Setting & Resource Allocation Committee (PSRAC) meets on the 2nd Thursday of every other month.
Mission: Review, analyze, and consider available data, and make recommendations to the HIV Planning Group based upon that data regarding service priorities, service delivery, and funding allocation by service category.
The Medical Standards & Evaluation Committee (MSEC) meets 4 times a year on the 2nd Tuesday of February, May, September, November.
Mission: Ensures that the HIV Primary Care services provided through local Ryan White-funded clinics meet or exceed established HIV clinical practice standards and Public Health Services (PHS) guidelines, assuring availability and access to state-of-the-art medical care for all eligible people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).
The CARE Partnership meets on the 3rd Monday of the month.
Mission: Empowers consumers, shares resources, educates the community, advocates for public policy, and plans services for women, children, youth, and families living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
*The CARE Partnership Group is jointly sponsored by the San Diego HIV Planning Group and Part D Recipient.
