How to Apply for Medi-Cal

You can apply for Medi-Cal benefits in the following ways:

1.  Apply online through BenefitsCal, our website where you can:

  • Begin the application process by completing an easy online application
  • Submit electronic copies of verifications
  • Find out if you might be eligible to CalFresh and/or Medi-Cal benefits

2. Apply online through Covered California for Medi-Cal or Subsidized Health Insurance on the same application.

3. Submit a mail-in application.  Applications may be requested by calling:
