What We Do

The County Service Area No. 137 - Live Oak Springs Water System is governed by the County Board of Supervisors.  Operation and overall administration of the water system is delegated to the Department of Public Works (DPW). The Director of DPW provides general oversight, planning and direction; and DPW staff perform day-to-day operational activities and administration.

The Department of Public Works issues a variety of water service permits to residential and commercial customers; conducts plan checks for water related projects; provides management and engineering services for capital improvement and major maintenance projects; and provides budget administration, billing, and general record keeping associated with administration of the water system.
