Facilitating Access to Coordinated Transportation (FACT)

Description:

  • FACT offers rides in San Diego County for seniors aged 60+, persons with disabilities, students, veterans, and other residents who need assistance to make essential trips for medical needs or grocery needs
  • To arrange for a ride, call between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday
  • Please have the name(s) of the rider(s) to be transported, the pick-up address and time, and specify if any rider uses a mobility device such as a wheelchair or scooter
  • Rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Call at least one day ahead, if possible, to arrange for a ride

 

San Diego County Senior Transportation Program

The County of San Diego is partnering with On the Go to operate the San Diego County Senior Transportation Program. This program provides safe and reliable transportation for older adults living in specific areas at no cost to the rider. Each eligible rider will receive up to 100 miles worth of rides each month.

No-Cost Transportation Program Eligibility Criteria- Individuals Must:

  • Be at least 60 years old.
  • Have a household income at or below 80% of San Diego County Area Median Income.
  • Live in one of the following zip codes in San Diego County: 91901, 91905, 91906, 91910, 91911, 91915, 91917, 91934,91935, 91945,91948, 91950, 91962, 91963, 91977, 91980, 92004, 92020, 92027, 92055, 92058, 92060, 92066, 92070, 92081, 92083, 92084, 92086, 92102, 92105,92110, 92113, 92114, 92139, 92154, 92173, 92259, 92536, 92672

  • Live in a 0-50% quartile on the California Healthy Places Index in San Diego County.
