Sustainable Land Use

The Sustainable Land Use section (Section) within the Long Range Planning division is developing a framework to inform how the County’s communities can grow and evolve in a healthy, resilient, and equitable way.

This section is driven by the vision to effectively navigate how to balance housing production and sustainability, conservation, and resiliency, while advancing equity.

Through these efforts and collaboration with stakeholders, the Section supports the goal of the Long Range Planning division to improve the long-term quality of life for all communities in the unincorporated area of the County of San Diego.
