Rental Assistance and Affordable Housing Directory

The Rental Assistance and Affordable Housing Directory was created by San Diego County’s Housing and Community Development Services. It helps residents and community agencies find housing resources for low-income families. In the Directory, you’ll find:

A list of affordable housing complexes across the county
Information on the rental assistance programs
Contact details for cities with housing programs

County-Restricted Affordable Housing Map

The County-Restricted Affordable Housing Map was made by the County of San Diego's Housing and Community Development Services. It shows affordable housing projects in the area that have received funding from the County. The projects are listed as either Existing or Under Construction. If you have questions, you can find contact information for each project. This map will be updated every three months.

CalWORKs Housing Support Program

The County HHSA-Self Sufficiency Services’ CalWORKs program gives temporary cash help to eligible families with minor children. This program aims to help these families become self-sufficient through work. To use the program, the family must first enroll in CalWORKs.
