Border 2 Fire and Juvenile Detention Visitations
East Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility visiting will resume to regular hours on Monday, 1/27/2025.

Due to improved containment of the Border 2 fire, the San Diego County Probation Department will resume regularly scheduled hours for all visits to the East Mesa Juvenile Detention facility, on Monday, 1/27/2025. For more information on visiting hours, please visit our Visiting Page.
As a reminder, please drive carefully when in the area, as firefighters continue to work to mitigate all hazards.
The safety and well-being of those in our facility, as well as staff, are a top priority. If you have a loved one in our facility, be assured there is currently no danger to the facility related to the brush fire.
