Military Applicants

San Diego County Fire is committed to recruiting active duty military, transitioning military, veterans, and family of military personnel for our volunteer program. 

County Fire may assist with the following:

• Mentorship for those interested in a career in the fire service
• Guidance for meeting the County Fire volunteer requirements
• Firefighter training opportunities
• Information about the GI Bill
