ANNUAL MONITORING REPORT

The County is committed to advancing sustainability in our region through the recently adopted 2024 Climate Action Plan (CAP) and past implementation of the 2018 CAP. These efforts include a variety of programs and initiatives designed to reduce our carbon footprint and protect natural resources.

2018 Climate Action Plan

The CAP Annual Monitoring Report highlights the County's progress in implementing the 2018 CAP to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from County operations and the unincorporated areas of San Diego. Regular monitoring ensures that the County tracks the effectiveness of the 2018 CAP’s 26 strategies and measures while transitioning to the updated 2024 CAP framework.
