Moderate Rehabilitation Program

There are approximately 32 of these units in El Cajon.

If a unit becomes available, a renter is chosen from our waiting list and referred to the landlord for screening and selection.

• If the landlord decides your family is a good match, we then determine if you are eligible for this program.

• When the eligible family moves into the unit, they pay a portion of the rent based on their income, while we pay the remainder to the landlord.

• Just like other rental assistance programs, we will review your eligibility every year.
