Juvenile Forensic Services

Juvenile Forensic Services provides psychological and psychiatric services to youth living inside juvenile detention facilities. These services may include:

  • Counseling
  • Assessment
  • Crisis intervention
  • Psychiatric medication management
  • Assistance related to transitioning back to the community

Juvenile Forensic Services also provides assistance to Juvenile Probation, Juvenile Court and Child Welfare Services by providing expert consultation regarding mental health issues, mental competency screenings, and other mental health evaluations for youth.

Juvenile Forensic Services are provided by the Behavioral Health Services Stabilization, Treatment, Assessment and Transition Team (STAT) at the following Probation detention facilities:
