Market Your Property

Your Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) will start either the date your unit passes inspection or the date your new renter moves into the unit, whichever is later.

• The first HAP is issued to the landlord about two weeks after all the paperwork is processed.  After that, the payments are electronically deposited on the first of the month.

• You should contact the Housing Authority of the County of San Diego if your payment is not deposited by the tenth working day of the month.
