Voluntary Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability 

The County of San Diego offers two Voluntary Short-Term Disability Plans and Long-Term Disability, administered by Lincoln. The plans are designed separately for employees who currently pay into CA State Disability Insurance Tax (SDI) through their paycheck, and for those who do not pay this tax. 

Plan Types

• Short-Term Disability for Employees who pay into CA/SDI Tax
• Short-Term Disability for Employees who do NOT pay into CA/SDI Tax
• Long-Term Disability Plan
