The Director sets the policy direction for all Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ) programs organized in four divisions: Food and Housing, Hazardous Materials, Land and Water Quality and Community Health. These programs help to ensure the public is protected from public health and environmental threats. DEHQ staff performs their duties in a professional manner that emphasizes outstanding customer service.
